When cutting elasto-plastic materials at medium speed, the surface roughness value of the parts after machining is large due to the easy generation of edged chips and the large plastic deformation. Usually low-speed or high-speed cutting of elastic-plastic materials can effectively avoid the generation of built-up edge, which has a positive effect on reducing the surface roughness value.
2. Tool geometry parameters
